Adam began in the industrial/commercial industry as a teenager working with his father. They remodeled buildings such as McDonald’s, Arby’s, and Starbucks. He learned many trades, a good work ethic, and how to build relationships. He then concentrated on the industrial side of things which brought him to the Power industry as a laborer. As he worked his first outage, he then realized he would work hard to become an all-around hand for any application. He traveled to several nuke and fossil plants in the southeast to perfect his craft. He has been involved with a wide variety of projects including placing thousands of yards of concrete, welding & fabrication, operating all pieces of heavy equipment, and removing steam generators and reactor heads from a nuclear power plant. Most importantly at Stokes Construction, it is safety, quality, and family that are the driving factors that keep us rolling. Adam has almost 200 years of Florida roots and wants to help every chance he gets. Adam has four children, Emma, Tunk, Abby, and Timber. His wife Nikki is also one that gives him the drive and support to continue to grow in knowledge. Adam and his family are very involved in youth sports from football, baseball, softball, and wrestling.

Justin Lamb is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with a strong background in strategic growth and operations across multiple industries. He earned his Associate Degree in Business Management from CFCC, then went on to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with minors in Finance and Marketing from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida. After graduating, Justin returned home to join his family’s automotive business, where he worked alongside his parents to strategically scale the company into a multi-brand operation consisting of six new-car dealerships and two Harley-Davidson franchises. In 2022, the family successfully sold the business. Following the sale, Justin shifted his focus to the tractor and equipment industry, where he played a key role in expanding the company to 18 locations across multiple states. Today, the organization employs more than 400 people and generates several hundred million dollars in annual revenue. In 2023, Justin launched Six Mile Hunting Lodge & Ranch in Chiefland, Florida—a 6,000-acre hunting preserve and corporate retreat designed to host high-end recreational and business experiences. Continuing his entrepreneurial path, in late 2024 Justin partnered with a lifelong friend to acquire and rebrand Southern Site Power & Construction. The company now specializes in power plant work, with a primary focus on dirt work and underground site development. Justin’s career reflects a consistent ability to identify opportunity, scale operations, and build successful enterprises across diverse industries

Troy Hawkins is a lifelong Ocala, Florida native with deep roots in the community and more than three decades of experience in heavy civil construction. He brings a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of dirt work, site development, and underground utilities. Troy spent 36 years with Rainey Construction, serving as Vice President and playing a key leadership role in the development of The Villages—one of the largest and most impactful community developments in the state of Florida. His long tenure reflects a career built on experience, consistency, and earning respect in the field. Today, Troy is bringing his passion for site and underground construction to Southern Site Power & Construction, where he has joined Adam and Justin to help lead and grow the company. Known for his work ethic, field knowledge, and commitment to doing things right, Troy is focused on building strong projects, strong teams, and lasting relationships

Margaret Durham serves as Chief Financial Officer of Southern Site and Power Construction, LLC, where she guides the company’s financial strategy and long-term fiscal direction. She oversees planning, reporting, and performance with a steady focus on accuracy, accountability, and sustainable growth. With more than a decade of experience in construction accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting, Margaret brings disciplined financial leadership to a fast-paced, project-driven environment. She works closely with executive and operational teams to support informed decision-making, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure precise job cost and cash flow management. Margaret is committed to financial integrity and operational excellence, helping position Southern for continued strength, stability, and strategic expansion.

My Name is Kimberly. I was born in Hollywood Florida and moved to Crystal River when I was three and have been here ever since. I am a mother of two boys and a grandmother to a granddaughter who just turned 1. Kids are my world. I love taking them on memorable trips whether it’s just to a hotel in Florida at a water park or a ski trip in the Carolinas, as long as I take them somewhere it gives me so much joy. I enjoy family time, time spent with some of my closest friends and just being at the house getting projects done. I love being outside whether it’s on a boat, at the beach, BBQing or just playing outside with the kids. I have been with Southern Site & Power Construction since 2018. I love what I do here and plan to continue my journey with the company as the company grows.

Clayton Trenary is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in construction, project management, and ranch operations. With a decade spent at CR3 on major projects, He developed a strong foundation in construction, safety protocols, and team leadership. Following this, He spent 10 years as the ranch manager at 6 Mile Ranch, overseeing daily operations, resource management, and personnel. Clayton Trenary brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to any project or team!

I was born and raised right here in Citrus County, where I’ve built both my life and career. My wife and I have been happily married for 29 years, and this community has always been home to us. With 30 years of experience in the construction industry, I’ve specialized primarily in the underground utilities field. This extensive background has allowed me to contribute to a variety of impactful projects that support the growth and infrastructure of our area. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me enjoying my favorite pastime: fishing. It’s a passion that keeps me connected to the natural beauty of Citrus County and serves as a perfect way to unwind.

My name is Krystina Velez, and I’m proud to say that I was born and raised in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida. As a devoted mom to two incredible boys and a bonus mom to another wonderful boy, my children truly are my world. They inspire me every day. Every moment spent with my family is a cherished memory that I hold dear.  When I’m not busy being a mom, I love to go shopping, spend time with girlfriends, and do anything outdoors, such as the Ocean and beach. Family is at the heart of everything I do. I relish the time I spend with my loved ones. I believe that the bonds we create and nurture with our family and friends enrich our lives and provide us with a sense of belonging. I’ve been with Southern Site and Power Construction for 2 years and look forward to growing with the company.

Scott began his professional career as a Biologist working for the State before returning to school to pursue Engineering. He then spent the next several years doing site civil design and permitting for commercial and residential projects. Next, he worked as a Safety Specialist for Townsend Constructors, where he met and collaborated with Lisa, Mike, and Adam, helping to complete projects while meeting budgetary and scheduling demands in a safe manner. Scott left Townsend to pursue an Engineering opportunity, and now he has returned to work with Adam & Justin at Southern Site, this time as an estimator. One day, he hopes to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up, but until then, he will use his broad range of work experiences to help him face new challenges that come his way. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, canoeing, and biking with his wife and two children

Hi, I’m Venesa White, a proud mom of three – a daughter and two sons. I love watching my oldest son play baseball. I enjoy spending time outdoors and value the moments I share with my family, laughing and creating memories.
